Like I said from the previous post I did some stuff to my jeep. I ditched the screwdriver antenna and decided to go the mono bander / ham stick route ... The High Sierra was a good antenna but the off roading I do to go shooting was just going to kill the poor thing and before I totally destroyed it I sold it to a buddy who will treat it much better than I would have. Which brings me to the reason for this post Breedlove Mounts. KF7WFB , Pat turned me on to these mounts and boy are they something. If you are looking for the best possible mount for your antenna and Breedlove makes the style you need look no further and don't complain about the price shutup and order it .... Its just that simple He makes the finest machined antenna mounts I have seen anywhere bar none !!!! Everything is thought out and made from the best material available. Last time I took the jeep to HRO every sales guy came out to see the mount and could not believe how well it was made and how sturdy it was.
The picture below has a 2 meter Hustler on it for testing now she is sporting a 10 meter MFJ mono bander with a Hustler stainless steel spring ....

No posts for a while
Hello all - Been fighting some major back issues lately and haven't been on the air or doing much Ham related stuff lately. Pretty tuff to talk when your in pain and not complain about things so I don't want to be one of "those guys" lol ...
But anyways I did do some stuff to the jeep in the past few weeks and I will create another post but I wanted to make this one to explain the gap ...
So onward and upward .... Field day is coming soon so I hope to get some of the 52 guys up to the rim and make some contacts for the day ....
